I’d like to teach you one of my signature card flourishes.
It’s a one card twirl called “Flicker”.
When Flicker and Firefly was released in our 2007 video “Style“, it started a whole trend of one and two card flourishes and variations of what was in that video.
That trend has since developed into an entire genre of its own, and now more than ever, we are receiving countless emails from people requesting to learn our original work on the subject.
After much discussion, we decided to head to the studio to create a tutorial detailing both the technical aspect of the flourish, as well as the stylistic and dynamic aspect of performing the flourish.
Flicker is definitely one of my most treasured and favorite card flourishes because of how beautiful it looks and how versatile it is in its application… so learn it well, play with it, and continue developing your own ideas for this little baby of mine.

In all of the years I have gotten on the computer to learn a new trick or flourish, I have never seen it taught the way you guys do! It is absolutely amazing! Greatest group i have yet to see!!

Not to sound too stupid, as I’m sure someone else has asked this before, but when are you expecting the main site to be back up? I’m interested in the art, and I’m loathe to look elsewhere to find information or techniques.

How can you get a better grip on the card between your middle and index finger? I try to flick it before the 90 degree wrist rotate but it always slides out of my control.
I cant get fluid hand movement to give it that kinda flash is there anything i can do to practice fluid movement?????

Oh, damn. This is HOT. I’ve already added it to three of my own flourishes, it’s so versatile. By versatile, I mean versatile. You could probably add this to 99% of the flourishes out there at one point or another..
